Our NEXT MEETING is...
Our monthly meetings resumed September 28, 2022. Meetings are from 10:30- 12:00, at the Rio Grande Valley Partnership Chamber in Weslaco, on 322 S. Missouri. Lunch is included. Click here to send me an email to let us know you're coming...Want to make sure we've got the right amount of meals and handouts available for you! Vendors, you are more than welcome to provide door prizes!

The Conference will take place at the South Padre Island Convention Center. The host hotel is the Best Western Beachside Inn. The format of the Conference will be like our previous conferences. You can click hereto see what our 2022 Agenda looked like. In 2022 we introduced an evening cruise on the bay for our Wednesday evening social mixer...it was a hit! The 2023 Conference Agenda can be viewed on our new platform. The registration process has been revamped using a new online platform. We are live and tweaking as we go along...we appreciate your feedback and patience.

If you are a school district official and you're involved in school maintenance, facilities, custodial operations we'd love to see you at our meetings! There is no fees (our vendors/partners are great!). We just ask that you email me in advance to let us know you're coming. Then I'll add you to our email list so you receive future notices for meetings, etc. It's a win win situation!
The STASMO 2023Scholarship program has been finalized and is being emailed to our members on 4/28. The deadline for getting the packets back to us is May 31st. Recipients and their families will be invited to join us for lunch on July 20th during our Summer Conference.

Our Last Meeting Was... (9/02/22 This section to be updated)
~January 29, 2020 Meeting Presentations included, "Elimination of mold and mildew under resilient flooring..." by Forbo and "Preparing for State Hazcom Audits..." by TASB Facilities
~Nov 20th, 2019, Presenters were Don May of TF Harper talking about Play ground safety and Russell Bego of AEP reviewing several of their energy efficiency & reimbursement programs. They were also our lunch sponsors- Thank you!

~The Texas School Safety Center helps schools create and improve emergency operation plans. It was formed in 1999 and was authorized by the 77th Texas Legislature in 2001. It is located in the Texas Education Code - Chapter §37.201. The Attorney Generals Office website also has a school safety section with lots of good info and resources...
